Licensed electricians who also do solar and batteries

Who we are

We are licensed electricians. Energy Solutions opened in August 2013 as a solar company and, over the last few years, grew into a full electrical contractor. Our crew has 50+ years of combined team experience, our Oregon CCB license number is 202002, and our owner, Grant, still answers questions and walks customers through their options.

Many people still think of us as a solar company. We are that, and we are also the electricians you can hire for a panel change, a service upgrade, an EV charger, a generator, or a solar removal and reinstall. See the kind of work we do on our projects page.

What we do

• Residential and commercial solar
• Battery backup with Enphase, Sigenergy, and FranklinWH batteries
• Electrical panel and service upgrades, including FPE and Zinsco replacements
• EV charger installation
• Whole-house backup generators
• Solar panel removal and reinstall
• Solar service and repair

We install Enphase, Silfab, REC, and Generac equipment and are an Energy Trust of Oregon trade ally.

How we work

Every job follows the same four steps, so you know what to expect.

1. Consultation and design. We talk through your goals, look at your home or building, and design the work.
2. Permitting and paperwork. We handle permits and utility paperwork.
3. Installation. Our crew does the work, with licensed electricians on every electrical step.
4. Activation and support. We test, activate, and stay available afterward.

Who we serve

We serve homeowners, roofers who need solar removed and reinstalled, restoration companies that need licensed electricians, and realtors who want one team for the electrical and solar items on a home. Grant also teaches a solar and real estate continuing-education class through title companies. Our service area is the Portland metro area, the Willamette Valley, and SW Washington. Our office is in Oregon City. See the service area.
